Jeff Clayborne brings over three decades of financial leadership across public and private companies in the consumer, technology, and entertainment sectors. He has led successful IPOs, built scalable financial systems, and helped grow design-led, consumer-facing brands. Jeff previously served as CFO of premium apparel brand Perfect Moment, public SaaS company Verb Technology, and e-mobility startup SONDORS, where he drove transformation using platforms like NetSuite and Shopify. His disciplined, tech-enabled approach to finance supports Newton Golf’s mission to scale with operational rigor and long-term value creation.

Akinobu Yorihiro is a co-founder of Sacks Parente Golf (now Newton Golf), serving as Chief Technology Officer. His deep expertise in international business development, manufacturing, and intellectual property has been instrumental in expanding Newton Golf’s global reach. Previously CFO, he now plays a crucial role in optimizing supply chains and fostering partnerships across Asia-Pacific markets. Additionally, he has chaired Nippon Xport Ventures since 2017. His visionary leadership continues to shape the company’s international strategy.

Brett Hoge is a seasoned financial executive with extensive expertise in investment banking, corporate finance, and strategic asset allocation. As Senior Managing Director at Truist Investment Services, he has been recognized by Barron’s, Forbes, and Financial Times as a leading financial advisor. Committed to philanthropy, he has served on multiple nonprofit boards and established The Larry V. Hughes ALS Foundation, funding critical research at Duke University. His financial acumen and leadership bolster Newton Golf’s financial strategies. He became a Director in March 2022.

Jane Casanta is an accomplished executive with over two decades in golf industry marketing and product development. As the former Director of Marketing for Titleist Gloves and Accessories, she doubled international sales, significantly increased domestic gear revenue, and strengthened the Titleist brand. Her expertise in governance, compliance, and strategic advisory aids Newton Golf navigating corporate regulations and enhancing shareholder value. Her deep industry knowledge and leadership contribute to Newton Golf's sustained growth.

John Bode has more than two decades of senior financial leadership, operational oversight and public-company governance experience. He currently serves as executive vice president, chief financial officer and chief transformation officer of Postmedia Network Canada Corp., where he leads finance operations and enterprise-wide transformation initiatives. Bode currently serves on the board of Stewards, a diversified private credit, real asset and digital finance platform; The McClatchy Company, a leading privately-held publisher of newspapers; and SPAR Group, a Nasdaq-listed leading global provider of merchandising, marketing and distribution services. Bode is founder and partner of Maxim Golf Solutions, a provider of tailored management and consulting services for golf courses and recreational properties. He is majority owner of Eagle Knoll Golf Club, Tiffany Greens Golf Club, and Dub’s Dread Golf Club. Bode previously served as chief operating officer of ReaderLink Distribution Services and as chief financial officer of the Tribune Publishing Company, where he played a key role in financial restructuring, operational optimization and strategic transformation. Earlier, he served as the chief financial officer of Source Interlink Companies, one of the largest enthusiast media companies in the U.S. and a leading distributor of periodicals. He earned his Bachelor of Science in accounting from the University of Notre Dame where he was a member of the golf team.
